God made us for communities, where we feel wanted and where we belong. Authentic and loving communities, who draw people to Christ, rely on God's power to change lives. These are once in a life time opportunities to grow deeper in faith, and learn the art of discipling those in your circle of friendship, your family and your communities.

Luke 14: 25-33 NIV Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them He said: "If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters-yes, even their own life-such a person cannot be my disciple. "Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won't you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, this person began to build and wasn't able to finish."

COGdisciples.org exist to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to make disciples right where God has created you; in whatever location of the world you are. Our goal is to serve you, where you live, work and worship. After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and kindred and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes and with palms in their hands. (Revelation 7: 9)

God has called us to be a prophetic end-time movement, whose mission is to proclaim the eternal gospel that is taught throughout the Bible; and make disciples who are preparing for Jesus' soon return. The eternal gospel is to go to every nation, tribe, language and people. In order for the COGdisciples.org movement to grow and gain momentum, it is essential to remain committed to the call of God on our heart, and be willing to adapt to the Mission of the great Commission.

COGdisciples.org is dedicated to discipling God's people around the world, developing strong communities and transforming lives. We are endeavoring to empower people to create solutions for their own communities. There are multiple different ways in which we will partner with depressed constituents; who lacked the basic necessities in their living conditions.

The COG discipleship movement is committed to adapting new methods and tools in order to reach more people for Jesus and prepare more people for His soon return. We will examine different ways that the mission can quickly moved to utilize radio, internet and satellite communications.

In the same way, different religious organizations have been willing to start new churches in a wide variety of settings and venues; our mission seeks to do the same. There is value in establishing mission fields in various regions of the world. We will target university campuses, depressed communities, as well as small defined demographics, in different regions of our globe... People need to be reached not only at home in established churches, but where ever they are.

Would you be surprise to learn that the New Testament never refers to any dedicated physical Christian buildings? Rather, the reference to church has always been, to the community of believers and disciples who were called out and set apart to follow Jesus. In the early Christian movement, Christians met for fellowship and worship in houses. It is also important to note that God's presence hovering over the tent while Israel journey towards the Promised Land.

COG disciples mission is also aware that the world is heading towards the end time when various worship restrictions will be imposed. During the early persecution of the Christian church; one of the main ways that the church could survive persecution was to go underground and meet in homes. While this prospect may sound daunting, the reality is that the Christian church has flourished in these times. There is not much evidence this trend will continue, as such Cogdisciples mission wants to create a framework for global discipling as a full expression of church.

DISCIPLING FOCUS

All missions should be focused on making disciples and growing leaders. Committed mission fields are not just about focusing on creating comfortable gatherings for Christians. Developing an intentional strategy for and a consistent culture of making disciples is essential to COG disciple's mission. Our clear focus is to achieve our purpose to multiply disciples. Discipleship involves worship, ministry, and witness/evangelism, community building. Just as importantly, true disciples are also committed to making other disciples. Our mission will need to have a clear disciple making focus in order to be faithful to Jesus' command to make disciples.

Discipleship as evidence in Christ's call on the New Testament church, involves providing practical assistance to people's lives and it's a continual process which lasts for one's entire life. This personal and spiritual transformation requires the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit in the life of each individual missionary. The focus will be on multiplying disciples who are being transformed, rather than simply gathering more and more people.
